Driveway Debrief Instructions
- Schedule the Driveway Debrief: Plan to perform the driveway debrief after your commute, allowing time to unwind and reduce the day’s stimulation and energy.
- Find a Suitable Location: Safely park your car, bike, or conveyance in a place where you won’t be disturbed. Turn off the car. If necessary, park a short distance from your home to avoid challenges, especially if parking near your home is difficult.
- Consider Family Dynamics: If you have small children, be mindful that conducting this near your home may cause distractions, as children might wonder why you’re sitting in the car.
- Inform Your Significant Other: Let your significant other know about the driveway debrief to gain their support and understanding, ensuring it’s not a concealed activity.
- Acknowledge Time Investment: Recognize that the practice requires time, but the time spent is often rewarding and beneficial in the long run.
- Adapt to Energy Levels: Acknowledge that there will be times when fatigue may prevail, especially after night shifts or exhausting days. On these days, it’s okay to skip the practice, but try it whenever you have the energy.
